So I'm getting back in to art. I feel like I'm good for once. Normally I would look at my work and just think it was terrible. But my new works I am not as bothered by. I feel like I can really do some good work possibly if I just put in more heavy work on some of my projects. So I busted out my tablet PC and I'm working on redrawing Jill in a couple different ways with color and clean it up. Hopefully if I keep doing these time heavy projects I can become faster and better. Here is to hoping that I make the jump to finally being able to call myself an "intermediate" artist from beginner. But I sure as hell enjoy my visits. :] Feeling kinda artsy since I have been drawing a lot while on this Dungeons and Dragons trip. Hit me up if anyone wants an art trade.

So I learned how to color with OpenCanvas since it had a coloring tool that was solid yet had a great variety of pressure sensitivity so I could make thick or thin lines as well as a smooth transition around the edges as to not make it such a hard outline to each color and shadow. Sadly the sketchiness that I loved about Open canvas' pencil tool was kind of a waste. The eraser doesn't ever completely erase the lines leaving me with background images of my failures. I just wish there was something like that coloring tool i use in open canvas in other programs like painter 11 or Photoshop CS3 but i haven't seen it :/
